I've been trying to make a ball that bounces along the ground but can't get it to work.
I want to make a fireball like in Super Mario Bros on NES.

I've tried the centery thingy and the ball either goes off screen, looks really silly or doesn't hit the enemy.
With t4 how would I keep it's horizontal movement constant? I mean, wouldn't the "ball" eventually stop?

Ok, so t4 just results in the ball stopping as soon as it hits the ground and messing with dvy looks silly and doesn't work, I've tried all sorts of values but what mostly happens is the ball favours either going up or down(depending on the values), is what I'm asking even possible?

isn't there a certain frame like 40, 50, 70 in t3 object? one of them is a frame where the ball go if it hits ground by using hit_Fa: x

Can't you just put a dvy & dvx in the on_ground frames?

I tried t4 again, I forgot the on_ground frames last time.
It works to an extent...
When you fire a ball if you keep pressing attack(to fire more) you'll punch the one you just made, it will keep going forward but it looks really silly.
It also can't kick reflected(not even by John's move) or stopped, once it hits an enemy it keeps going.
