[weapon]Jukebox

I think something like this is new.....
It´s a jukebox it looks like a wooden box but if u break it music will play YAY!
You can change the music by editing dat file(more instructions in read me)or simply renaming ur WAV.file.....(You can use switch converter from lf-empire.de I prefer it).

it´s very basic but somehow some of the uploade sounds have bad quality anyway enjoy

yes ive thought about making a radio object aswell - tho i wanted to make it play/pause when hit so thatd be a bit more complex

i cant see a download/sample/image here tho :/

I can imagine how it works in your version, yakub, but I can't see it, obviously you forgot to attach the file :P

@YinYin: I have a theory that might work, at least the basic idea is in my head. Let's see if it works. If it doesn't, then don't expect a reply :D

hey, nice idea! I think Hardstyle would come damn cool in the battle mode!

Why not changing the F5-key into play/pause! You wouldn't need a weapon in this case, if silva could put a "radio-function" into the exe, which uses 1.mp3, 2.mp3...etc, so you just have to put some songs in and rename them! Is this possible?

i abandoned it all as totally useless as most ppl dont need their game to be an mp3 player aswell ._.
and the play/pause function is way to complex

First: sry for double posting problem is that both of your posts were sent in a timespan less than 15 minutes. ~Blue
second: I also thought about a dummy like the one from mythbusters XD its a char who neither can move nor attack he only stands there for testing new chars,how many DMG new/old combo´s do and so on but I cant start working since my paint doesn´t work I´ll reboot my Computer tomorrow so I´ll probaböy start (and maybe finish)tomorrow since I work fast on lil´projects like this ;)

Just for information, I tried around for the last 30 minutes but there is no possibility to make that stuff with just a few lines of code. Like YinYin said, it is way to complex - on that level there are so many source-code-related things that it doesn't make fun anymore to code that. In that case, the exe-coding itself is so ugly about that topic, so don't try to bach your head into that like we already did ;)

If you can give the music file a few blank seconds before it starts, then simply make the radio (or whatsoever) repeat the sound with a very low wait.

As far as I know, if a sound hasn't ended and there's a new one played, the sound will simply restart.

The only problem is that you also have the music in menue, pause and more...

yea, I know that, and your example is the reason why I don't want to do that. If it was that easy like in Flash...


I have another idea..........
What if you split the songs in small chunks, and let these play? As soon as you hit the object, a bdy is created and the music is stopped via itr (k: 8) which leads to a dummy-frame...
