I`m sure you recognized I`m not that active on LFE-Forums, well, this won`t change, but I still want to try to put some new stuff on the mainsite. Since my time is limited you will have to do some stuff yourself, but this shouldnt be to hard hopefully.

I try this system with characters for now, if it turn out well I`ll allow it for backgrounds etc, too...

Edit: Since the system went well on characters so far I also want to try this for backgrounds and weapons. Mods, stages and versions are a bit tricky cause they should be tested very carefully, so far you can`t submit them with this system.

How to submit your Character to LFE-Downloads: (Click to View)

1. CREATE A THREAD
Create a thread in LFE-Projects Forum and wait a few days to get some comments. I recommend to put some screenshots or so in this thread.

2. FIRST PM
If you got good feedback and think your character is good enough to be on the mainsite write a PM to me, add the link to the characters thread in the PM and ask if you can prepare him to put him on the mainsite.

I`ll check it out then.

If:
- I see some files are missing or
- Your hero is still in Beta (I ONLY publish finished heros!) or
- There`s no readme me how to install the hero or
- Bad Comments on your low-quality hero
You shouldn't write this PM but redo your hero!

Don`t write another PM after one day or two if I don't answer, if you get on my nerves it will only decrease your chances

YOU GOT AN ANSWER:
If I answer your PM and tell you you can add the hero - congratulations. If you don`t get an answer - don`t ask! I`m probably busy.

Well, if you got a go from me:

- Create a .png with the face-image of your hero,
name it to "YourCharacter_face.png"

- Create a .png with some images from the hero in game,
name it to "YourCharacter_pic.png". Here`s the template:

- Write a little description of your hero in english, just two or three sentences about the creation history, backgrounds, moves, techniques you used, etc. If you`re german I would be happy if you write a german description, too, if you`re no german I will do this for you.

- If you want a certain date in as publish date - note it somewhere

- Make sure the Zip-File of your hero includes everything needed! Add the following text at the bottom of your readme:

- Make a screenshot of a group of people fighting on your background without showing the pause-logo, you can use this EXE-File (1.9) which don`t show a pause-logo if you press F2:
  LF2-Neutral.zip (Size: 332.02 KB / Downloads: 934)
or simply delete the pause logo yourself with the ressource hacker.
Name it to "YourBackground.png"

- Make a copy of the screenshot, resize it to 167x120 px and rename it to
"tn_YourBackground.png".

- Make a 460x120 px image showing the weapon in use, there`re no more specifications here, it`s on you how you present it best. You can also use the Neutral-Pause-LF2 so it`s easier to take good screenshots without Pause-Logo:

I don't know if I am allowed to post in this section, but I got to say I like the idea that's being put forward here.

I try this system with characters for now, if it turn out well I`ll allow it for backgrounds etc, too...

Also good idea to add some new stuffs in mainsite,as the last char addad there has been one year ago.

Hey guys, you can also PM me if you see that MH is busy... If it's a low-quality hero though, I will not put it (As MH stated).

If you mean compressing, it's recommended to use .zip instead or .rar since .rar needs an addinational extracting program when .zip doesn't.
