Poll: can insert more than 80 characters in LF2 while playing on Win XP OS but not in Win 7. Do we need an upgrade/patch for win 7?

Issue : LF2 not working in win 7
#1
Hi Buddy,

I was playing lf2 in win XP SP2 OS version with more than 80 characters ( 85-92). But the same is not working in Win 7.

Win 7 is supporting only 66 characters with same number of weapons and backgrounds.

Here is my data.txt
What is the fix here?

Does it run at all if you played original LF2 without the extra characters?
If LF2.exe refuses to start up at all, this thread might help. Also ensure that you have mirror sprites, otherwise your sprites won't show up correctly in the game when facing left. To make mirror sprites, simply copy the original file, rename by adding "_mirror" in the name, and use paint to flip the image horizontally.

Any other way to mirroring the sprites, its too painful and boring to use mspaint. mirroring apps other than sprite_mirror because it does not create complete mirror sprites (tested with character Blast)

compatibly mode is in properties after you right click lf2.exe. then you go to compatibility tab and change from windows 7
