I decided to give your characters a look. You should've included screenshots, but I've done that for you.
You forgot to add zane_s.bmp. I made my own. Zane's name in menu selection is "ane" Readme is lacking. I understand its a beta, but it should at least list the moves and still state some credits. As you can see the sprite is generally based off Bandit. Comparing the pictures side-by-side, you'd realize Zane's height is inconsistent. >>D is a slide kick. >>A is a cartwheel like Henry, but does damage multiple times like Davis' DvA. Does something similar with >>JA (pictured). This is Zane powering up when standing still for long enough. If an enemy stands within the aura, they get fall: -1. No other benefit noted. He does the same pose in D^J, but no sprite and will hit everything in a very large area with fall: -1. D>A(+A) is a homing saw which fires out with a lot of forward velocity. The ball is too low, so it can hit light weapons lying on the floor. D>J is a beam. Can hit light weapons lying on the floor. D^A is summoning a sword and throwing it (ball only, you don't carry the weapon). DvA is an extremely buggy move, no idea what it does, apparently a transform. It can cause LF2 to crash. The first time I did it, I teleported next to the other Bandit and became a Bandit, and we both fell down. Then I crashed when I tried DJA again. The 2nd time I used it(I'm using a separate LF2 with extra characters to test this character instead of using the default LF2, but no id clashes), and I transformed into YinYin. I have no idea why. In mid-air, you can press D and you'd dash forward (sprites suggest that its supposed to be a teleport with rudolf smoke). Grabbing an opponent and pressing A will cause the enemy to be knocked back by an itr instead of using the cpoint to deal damage.
