What you need is still more shading. And the pants are too much "together".... How to explain it? I basicly meant that you must seperate the pants a bit or move the shoes closer to each other.

Like everything needs more shading, and about his stance did you tried drawning it over another char? Will be easier.
And in the forum it has 2 or 3 tutorials, in the Sprites>Tutorials section, about shading.
