Background: Snowhill island

There are two things I picked up on from the above screenshot:
  • There is a rather obvious seam in the ground.
  • Part of the ground looks as if it was mirrored.

Age ratings for movies and games (and similar) have never been a good idea.
One can learn a lot from reinventing wheels.
An unsound argument is not the same as an invalid one.
volatile in C++ does not mean thread-safe.
Do not make APIs unnecessarily asynchronous.
Make C++ operator > again

But still its good. You should know This is not a SnowGround.
Hills are many far Away from the ground. So I think you Should not add anymore Ice on there.
You should look that from the real life. Its Compliantly fine for the natural bg.

Damn I love the scenery!! An epic fight there with an epic music in the BG would be epic.

I don't really know much about DCing the BGs so tell me this, would it be possible to add a small stones like blockage in the path? That'd look really cool in this.
Coz snowy mountain areas tend to have some rockslides and you often find some stones lying here and there on the path/road.

I think it would be irritating to have stones. It would ruin gameplay.
Lf2 is not rpg game.
otherwise Marti would already put something like that.

I enjoy the smaller screen size compared to other LF2 stages for some reason. Open enough for Henry to run away, but it doesn't allow him to keep running in one direction. Maybe I'm just a sucker for such middle-man designs.
Can't really give feedback on the art though. The lack of animation does make it feel rather desolate to be honest.

Sadly you can't. All you can program from a stage is the stage size, the borders, and image layering. You probably could do something like this if you were messing with the stage mode data though.
To live a life of power, you must have faith that what you believe is right, even if others tell you you're wrong.
The first thing you must do to live a life of power is to find courage. You must reach beyond the boundaries of time itself.
And to do that, all you need is the will to take that first step...
Ask not what others can do for you, but what you can do for others.
