Your sprites remind me of Apoc's Sprites style, don't cha guys agree?
I'd like to help but i'm not as great as u guys...

That's because we're currently working together on a project, so we've been trying to keep our styles similar for the time being to maintain consistency across the stuff we create. And that mentality kinda spills over to my individual project. kinda.

Btw, all you need to do, is discuss about what you think Frozen's personality is like to you, and how that affects what you think he should look like and stuff.

There is nothing I would change in the sprites except for some things:
Make him slim, like someone say in those incredible longs post that I read carefully... Atm he is kinda fatty (Wich makes he looks more LF2 styled but less... Frozen styled...)
Also, I don't really like the face and hair. Or better, they don't really resemble the drawing. In any other original char I would say that the face and hair are perfect, but if you want to really get the soul of the the drawing, you have to get the correct feeling for it.
And... I recommend to try to animate the bands in the wrists like the ones in the drawing. That's probably the coolest thing in his suit. But just in the standing, not in every animation.

Btw, the idea of Frozen being Davis and Freeze fusion was originally from YinYin or from Steam? It really, really fits, even with the description you want for him...

I think he's slim enough. If I make him even slimmer... like I usually do with my characters, it won't fit in with the other lf2 characters. haha. I noticed that alot with my old characters. Which is why I tried hard to keep him Fatty, while appearing to be slim.

For the face and hair, I agree.. but i can't quite nail the look right. do you want to give it a shot and show me how you'd do it?
Should I make his face longer and slimmer? and what about his hair? I actually based his hair on memory rather than the pic. lool. I always remembered his hair to be more unruly than you see in the sketch. A bit shaggy, but still sleek. It brings out the personality theme of Calm but hiding explosive ferocity.

And this is in the Sprites thread because it was originally just a sprite, if the response is against the existence of a second Frozen project, it would've remained just a sprite and not a project. As it is, I suppose, there's no harm either way, since its still just a discussion on the character and how he should look like.

Tested various colour intensities and skin tones.


Personally I'd probably go with either 2, 3 or 5.
with 1 and 4, the clothes get too much focus, and the overall colour balance on 1 is pretty messed up.

5 may or may not be too intense, I can only be sure after making a couple more frames and playtest it in motion.
Either way, its easy to get to 2 or 5 if I start of with a base of 3.
