Wait I just noticed... in the last game Darl actually saved himself EVERY SINGLE TIME :o wow... what a shame

Also came up with my own rather weird setup that includes a 3rd party. Feel free to use or comment upon it:

STM1993's Terminator Setup
Player Ratio: Min 10 players (3 v 6 v 1) //add more townies.

Specific Rules (Click to View)

• Standard Specific Rules:
  • This setup is open; all details are known.
    
  • Private Talk (PMs etc): Allowed
    
  • Ghost Talk (talking in ANY form after death): Allowed
    
  • 3rd Party Factions are Enabled - The Ahnold must find & kill 2 randomly chosen players, who will not know they are the targets. At most one of them is Mafia.
    
  • Any alignment changers? No
    
  • Can the GM be expected to lie? No
    
  • Is this a Bastard round? No
    
  • The round starts in the Night
    
  • Player Ratio: (3 : variable : 1)
    
  • Players may vote 'no-lynch' in the day.
    
  • In the event of a tie, there will be a tiebreaker; players will elect a Mayor (see below).
    
  • If a player fails to vote, he will vote randomly.
    
  • Players who fail to submit their night action (if any) will take no action.
    
• New Specific Rules:
  
  1. Please read the Power Roles for some important details.
     
  2. During Night 0, the Mafia will choose who the Cop will check instead of a night kill.
     
  3. When Day 1 begins, players will vote for a Mayor. Should there be a tie, the Mayor will be forced to choose if he hasn't already voted someone in the tie.
     
  4. Should the present Mayor die, players will elect a new Mayor in the next Day phase.
     

Power Roles (Click to View)

You ah Ahnold the Terminator.

Win Conditions:
1. Youah goal is to kill John Connah and Sarah Connah. You know which factions they ah in, but not who they ah. They also do not know who they ah. They can either be both Townies or 1 Townie 1 Mafia, never both Mafia.
2. Upon successful termination of both Connahs, you will self-terminate and the game goes on if it hasn't already ended in Town/Mafia victory.
3. If you and one Connah ah the only two players left, it becomes ah Terminator-only victory instead of ah joint victory.
4. Likewise, if the remaining players ah both Connahs in opposite factions and yourself, it will automatically be ah Terminator-only victory.
5. You will be terminated if you fail to kill both Connahs before Town/Mafia wins.

Abilities
6. You ah indestructible. You cannot be killed in any way, including lynching.
7. If checked by Cop, you will show up as Mafia. If lynched, youah real role will be revealed.
8. You have access to police records. Therefore, on top of youah own checks, you will also find out if the Cop's target is ah Connah. If both you & Cop check the same target, you will randomly check someone else.
9. It will be publicly announced that you have found ah Connah, but only you will know who he is.

Don't worry, you ah not expected to talk like this. Just remember to PM me who you wish to check every night.

You are The Cop.

You are aligned with the Town. Every night, you can check the alignment of a player of your choice. However, you do have a few problems:
1. Checking the Mafia Godfather or the 3rd Party Ahnold will give you the Town and Mafia result respectively.
2. If you are protected by the doctor, your results will be the opposite of what they should be due the side effects of his vaccine.
3. The person you checked and his alignment will be publicly announced... if you survive the night.
4. On Night 0, the Mafia will choose who you check. On subsequent nights, you are free to act on your own.

You will receive the result of either "X is a Townie." or "X is Mafia!".

You are The Doctor.

You are aligned with the Town. Every night, you can vaccine anyone(including yourself), preventing him from dying that night. Just a few problems:
1. Your vaccine has a side-effect which makes the Cop's checks give the opposite result of what it should be.
2. You will not know if you have successfully saved your target; you'd only know if someone died or not via the official announcements.

You have no other special abilities. Just beware that a sober Cop can check your alignment easily, though if he is protected by the Doctor he will think you a Townie.

Also had a fun time reading the archived games results, thanks! There were some crazy nice roles and stuff. Newbie sheriff and psycho sheriff tho lol.

I was a confirmed citizen from the very start. What did you want me to do after the cop was killed?

^Cop was killed because you chose to save yourself. Sure there was a risk but you should have saved him anyway. As far as I recall, you were never targeted. Every single night a person was killed.

To be fair,
Night 0 - you have no information about anything or anyone, and it would be silly for a power role like Doctor to die even before the game can get going. If you can at least survive, even if Mafia knows who you are, you have a shot at saving someone else later on.
Night 1 - Rhino has taken the risky option of saying he's the cop, and he did get a Mafia mfc lynched. If I were Mafia I'd think this little incident would cause the doctor to protect the cop, and attacking Rhino right then would only prove to the doctor that Rhino can be trusted. Mafia can actually target themselves if they so desire, but that is an extremely improbable move given how risky it is; you'd basically be having the Mafia kill themselves TWICE, leaving only one guy behind and that is a very bad idea for Mafia.
Night 2 - Since no one stepped forward, Rhino is pretty much confirmed Cop, and the public sentiment is that Rhino would remain protected. Darl gambled on that sentiment and protected himself in case Mafia decided to try and aim for the doctor instead, but Mafia also gambled on taking a shot at killing Rhino and succeeded.

After that night, it becomes very hard for the doctor to really know who to save (especially when you look at the players still in the game); the odds of successfully saving some other guy at night is very low, so its best for the doctor to just save himself; at least he knows he himself is definitely townie. It should also be noted that Mafia side didn't think Darl was the doctor, but it is not unreasonable in Darl's shoes to think he would be killed.

Of course, round is over and hindsight is 20/20, so I would suggest not to continue to criticize on what players could have done.

Well I did say there was a risk in taking that action. Didn't I? I definitely agree on he saving himself on starting nights where nothing is known but when the fact that Cop was known, why take the risk? And obviously Cop is more important to players rather than the Doctor because findings of cop are beneficial to town but what about doctor? He literally didn't know anyone and can't risk himself being killed. At least he should have used his powers to protect the cop. That's what my point is. Anyway I have made my point and firmly stand by it.
