Let me put it this way,

We tried HF, didn't like it for various reasons and development stagnated. We don't see the situation improving anytime soon. Furthermore, we were told that HF wouldn't be moddable - which is the best thing about LF2 and why it has lasted to this day.

So we decided to just mod LF2 like crazy or even make a whole new freely-moddable engine by ourselves rather than wait for the creator to develop HF(and possibly in a way that we don't like).


We're saying that what you're doing is nice and good for self-improvement plus we all appreciate good pieces of art. However, if the goal is to help HF grow, then frankly it won't work at all. Its problem lies in development, not in marketing, which means no amount of fanart or softwares will reverse the situation it is facing now, only Marti himself can do anything about it.

That's all there is to it.

Hey, don't generalize :P.

I love Hero Fighter. It gives you many options for a next action. I liked how characters where categorized in the game; like you've got characters like Drew, they're tough and have got additional basic actions that suit them. That made every character feels much more unique. The story mode is very enjoyable (for me at least). The battle mode is great, although it lacks a little bit of more strategy in its game play. I also loved how you can hit your opponent even when they're lying on the ground, but I didn't see how one can hit them with a punch (?). I mean Mr.Marti could've made some moves which are directed to those who are lying, such that it doesn't get too cheap. A last note is the game play speed; it should've been faster IMO. At least, as fast as how LF2 plays.

All in all, I did enjoy HF more than LF2. I am really looking forward to the next version XD.

Just my thoughts: I think a "classic" stage mode or something like that would've drawn the attention of many LF2 fans.

I agree with both A-MAN and STM1993, but its not fun anymore to me either, Because, I can mod LF2 2000 times 3000 times, I can't mod HF, only take a picture, and recolor it, put someone elses head on it(Not talking about our Someone else XD), but in LF2, we can nearly do anything, it also helps us learn lots of stuff, MangaD don't take HF too seriously, Marti doesn't have that much time, I am not here to stop you from doing anything, but to give you an advice, HF is a good game, but also Bad because of many reasons.
1. Marti ain't workin on it.(MAIN)
2. Combo's are here, but not as much as LF2.(MAIN2)
3. Cannot be modified in any case, unless you can code it out, and do it, but, HF is a online type game, which takes data from online, so?(MAIN3)
LF2 Is a good game because of.
1. We can do whatever we want, Data Changing,Spriting,Hexing.
2. We can create Characters/Stages//Weapons/Otherstuff.
3. People can share their characters/stages/weapons/otherstuff, from anywhere, to everywhere.

Thats the difference I am talking about.

I just want to say that you are all right on your reviews.

But LF2 isn't any better than HF right now. Nobody plays it anymore except a handful of hardcore players. Even if HF is currently near dead, LF2 is even more. You can modify LF2 as much as you want, but that will also not help revive the game to the glory it once had. And you cannot make a new LF2 because you don't own the copyrights.

Even so, you still make mods, DC, sprites... Why? Because you love the game! Now that's the same for me. So please stop questioning Hero Fighter in my face.

I am not, I am not even stopping you from doing it, I just gave an advice, Hero fighter is a good game, I really agree with that, but LF2 isn't totally dead, its still one of the best, I agree HF is a pretty good game, its not getting developed because.

Marti doesn't have that much time

If we could show our support to Marti then he would start again this project, that would make him some profit. Unfortunatelly he chose other things to do to earn a living at this moment... But as always at all games the spirit of each game is the fAns... I cant ask you nothing else but to keep supporting both HF and LF2, cuz without LF2 there wouldnt be HF or any HF fAns (a big percentance of the HF fAns started with the LF2). So we shouldnt just say which of the 2 is better,---both amazing-xd--, but we should just keep them alive...by being supporters and active fAns...HAVE FUN!XD

And I am supporting both of them, not one of them, its just that, HF ain't moddable and LF is.
