The feral beast, Tiger.
Though shackled and chained, his strength is barely contained. Thus dangerous, he remains.

I changed his appearance up quite a fair bit.
- I kept a similar colour scheme, though I tweaked them a little to make it just a bit more vibrant.
- I always imagined those grey bracers to be iron shacles, but did not have the ability to sprite it at that time.
- Likewise with the bare feet and legs, I could not sprite bare feet when I was spriting the original tiger.

Anyway, some interesting little tidbit history about Tiger. I originally started him as a representative character when I was still under the alias Havoc_Creator. At that time I just finished making Sharpe and GodHC, sharpe being a practice sprite project, and both of them being practice DC projects. I was still keen on improving my sprites a lot more, and thus have been mimicking Ricky's sprites for awhile. Tiger's flat 2 tone shading, smooth detailed hair, 4px checkered irises where all derived from emulating Ricky's Walter and old version of Blaze.
When Ricky and Kaixa asked me if I was keen on joining the Elemental Chaos mod project, I said yes and changed the character into Tiger, to contribute to the project's needs.

All in all I think Tiger was one of my first character with decent-sprites. I always think of Sharpe and Haru as ugly practice characters. But spriting whole sheets made me improve very quickly, and understand how the entire character's feel come from its overall design and motion, and not the individual details in single sprite frames.

Also, all of my characters up to Kixot was drawn with only a mouse and photoshop. I hadn't been using tablets yet at that time. Varinziel was my first attempt at spriting with a tablet and also at 200% magnification, and I did not really like the result.

Now that's more like it. Superb sprite.
This is a revamp that:
1) Is clearly a technically better sprite than the original
2) Shows a fairly unique/different/personal interpretation on the original design
3) Is interesting and a possible contender for votes.

The previous revamp just looked like a clean up on my old sprite, nothing more. It was a cleaner sprite. It was possibly technically better, but no one could tell for sure. There was no point to that previous revamp.

After all that bickering and dithering you prove that you did understand it all anyway, but simply refused to accept the critique on your previous entry. Why did you insist on responding with those unnecessarily inciting and acidic remarks? Ability and Character are both essential components to a person's value. One without the other is wasteful at best, abhorrent at worst. You have ability, but weak character. If you would just work on that you would end up in less conflict with others, and enjoy yourself more. Unless you enjoy all this tasteless banter, in which case, go on, have fun, just ignore this.

By the way, don't respond to this comment. I neither need nor want to hear your answers, explanations, or thoughts on it. It is enough that you think about it, consider it carefully. The answers are only useful to yourself. Not me.
