May I suggest the following setup:

1 Godfather
2 Mafia Goons
1 Sheriff
1 Doctor
7 Citizen

I believe this will be most balanced. Of course you can tweak the roles as you wish, but keep balancing in mind

Also no restrictions on doctor and sheriff. Doctor can save whoever he wants every night (including himself) and Sheriff will get proper "Mafia" or "Not Mafia" result every time (Godfather resulting in 'Not Mafia' obviously).

would you guys like to have this setup? it have a small change from the classic one.

1 Mafia Tailor
7 Townies
2 Cops

mafia tailor target one player each night. If a cop targets that player, they will get a false result.

i know its not classic but it have just a small change, and it somehow keep the same principles

the classic setup similar to what Ramond noted, but instead of mafia godfather a normal mafia goon- have 67% win for mafia and 33% for town.
so i suppose if we give the mafia also a godfather they will have even more win chances.

its ur call guys, just tell me which setup u prefer.

So this way we have a new godfather each round, thats an advantage for mafia since they can savemost suspicious one, but 2 sherifs i think gives citizens a few more advantages. Well its a worth of trying xD
