Project couldn't get taken away from you - yours is still the first frozen to be almost (or) completed - even if it's not based on the original picture. So well done you ^^.
One day, I shall become, TUTORIAL-MAN: Superhero of writing overly long, overly annoying tutorials which most people probably won't read, but will give it a stab at the first 5 lines!

Still I guess it can be improved a little more. Probably.
(Note that I modified some other things: The bands at the torso (I think those erase the slim feel), the bands on the wrists (but didn't turned out good), and I don't remember if I changed something else... I used the version in the first post)

I think I get what you're trying to do with the face and hair. I'll try that out.

My stuff:

1) DO NOT PM ME
2) Go read up on anatomy and proportions online. (google is your best friend)
3) Go read up on pencil sketching-shading.
4) Practice by making FULL character sheets. (Refer to bases and references if you have to, occasionally try doing things from scratch. You have to mix both methods; bases and without.)
5) DO NOT be an arrogant, self-righteous prick when people try to give useful critiques, and ignore the ones who are flaming idiots. (Flaming them back makes you one of them.)
6) Repeat steps 2 to 5 until you're happy, or you think you're good, then start sharing your knowledge with your fellow spriters.
7) Showcase your sprites. At first, do not be discouraged when you don't get any critiques, or lousy/generic critiques. Continue practicing and showcasing your work. With more sprites, it will be clearer what your strengths and weaknesses are, and people may be better able to give you better critique.
Lastly, if you think saying all this makes me an arrogant, self-righteous prick who is too selfish to share his knowledge...
Then I say you cannot recognise wisdom when I've just slapped you in the face with it. (Also, those steps are the same steps I used to get to where I am, I don't know any way else to truly learn.)
Unless you think its worth my time, go F*** yourselves. I'm not going to bother to even reply to PMs like "can you help me make this character?" anymore.

I actually think that YinYin the first whom made the first stripe for this char wanted it to look like something different because in the drawing it doesn't look like a DAVIS and FREEZE fusion it looks more like a DAVIS,HENDRY and FREEZE fusion...
Anyway i like your sprite, but i think you overshaded it a bit looks more like a char for Hero Fighter then Little Fighter.
Errr... Is this char gonna be real or somethin'?
I hope not it will be wierd to have two Frozens in LF2..

Just for reference, Number 3 is the first sprite I made, the one you see in the first post.
Number 2 is the same as Number 3 with a paler skin colour.
Number 1, I'm probably not going with that coz the shirt is too bright.
Number 5 is same as Number 2 except with a contrast filter put on top of it.

Yea, well, number 5 is pretty pale in terms of skin colour.
@All:
I'm actually waiting for comments from those who earlier on suggested a paler skin colour and higher contrast clothes. These 5 were the test sprites for those ideas.
Personally my findings were that paler skin colour does fit in better with the other lf2 characters, but brighter clothes makes the sprite lose balance, unless the face and arms are made brighter by the same amount too.
Chances are, I'll work with Number 3, because its quite easy from there to tweak the contrast to Number 5.
Anyway right now I'm focused on finishing something else I've promised Azriel to do, before I begin serious work on Frozen, and then, well... I have about 39 days left of free time now, I wonder if I can finish both projects by then. haha.

I have to say - 2 is probably the best in my opinion. 5's got too high a contrast, it may just be my computer, but it looks so sharp and bright all the different colours.
