I myself am trying to improve so I think this is helping me.
I'm not use to LF2 sprites, it might be the small size and detail involved.

I think that's more of an advantage than a disadvantage. Unless of course.. you're trying to create anime style characters.
Otherwise.. I'd say not watching it helps you be less limited by your experience of them.
Anyway, you at least watch movies and play some games right? those should be good enough for general ideas.

In fact.. I prefer looking for ideas from watching ppl on the streets walk by than from anime or games. Although there's not much to see in Singapore. everyone's wearing t-shirts and shorts because of the insane year round summer weather. But sometimes indoors you see interesting dress senses and I try to draw ideas from there.

To be honest I never took your name because of you.
I have had it for a very long time, maybe not in LFE, but on my own forum I use this name.
I don't even know you much less. So don't turn this into a war against me.
