You only have Stinky in the beginning, all other characters can be bought.

Skills:
You have to buy most skills for the game, you just have three skills as default:
First skill from beginning of the game
Second skill in the beginning of Stage 2
Third skill in the beginning of Stage 4

Attention: not all characters get the skills at this time, for example John get his third skill in stage 22
